SEB 217-3 Miele Powerbrush General Details:

The SEB 217-3 Powerbrush provides a 10-1/4" wide sweeping path delivers edge to edge cleaning. This is a great carpet cleaning head for low cut carpets and low to medium height berbers. This is an easy to use Direct Connect accessory that works with the SET 210 Telescopic wand. The SEB 217-3 powerbrush is a great replacement or addition for those looking to upgrade from a rug and bare floor combination head.  

SEB 217-3 Miele Powerbrush Features:

The powerbrush is particularly suitable for cleaning and restoring crushed carpet pile of wall to wall carpeting and floor coverings subject to hard wear, especially in high traffic areas. The powerbrush can also be used on smooth floor surfaces. A two way swivel allows for instant direction adjustment when cleaning. A true advantage when cleaning around furniture, corners, and tight areas. The motor and brush can also be powered off while the vacuum remains on. This is a great feature when you need to set the head down for a moment.

Will this Miele Accessory work with my vacuum?:

The SEB 217-3 works with all S5 series Miele canister vacuums. These vacuums include the Miele S5280 Pisces, S5280 Callisto, S5580 Aquarius, and the Miele S5980 Capricorn vacuum cleaners. You may wonder what we mean by "Direct Connect". Well, it is exactly that; all Miele Direct Connect accessories plug and unplug directly and securely with the SET210 or SET220 Telescopic Wand. 

In order to use the powerbrush with a Miele vacuum that does not have an electric hose and wand like a Miele S2, you will need to purchase the appropriate hose and the SET 210 / 220 Telescopic Wand.

The SEB217-3 should be purchased if your vacuum requires the SEB217-2.

Technical features of the SEB 236 Powerbrush:

The brush bar and belt are driven by a 0.5 amp electric motor, using a cog belp to elimates slippage or stretch. All electrical connections are embedded in the hose and connectors, so there are no loose cords. There is also a motor shut-off in case any large object interfere with the brush roll.
