The dreaded algal bloom, in other words an explosive increase in suspended algae, as well as being extremely unsightly this can be especially dangerous for flora and fauna. AlGo Greenaway - Green Water Clarifier from Oase makes green ponds clear again. The special active ingredient of Algo Greenaway safely removes suspended algae, the cause of green turbid water, and fends off new algae growth.
Application:
Do not use at a KH <3°dKH (This can be checked using Oase QuickSticks) or if sensitive fish species, such as ide or sturgeon, are present. Switch off the UVC clarifier for 36 hours and remove absorptive filter media, such as filter charcoal. Do not overdose to avoid possible serious consequences. During the treatment period ensure adequate aeration to avoid a lack of oxygen. Shake vigorously and distribute through the entire pond. 500ml of solution is adequate for 10,000 litres of pond water. It is best to dose in the early morning hours. Repeat dosage at the earliest after three days.
